SockAndAwe was created as a flash game in response to the George Bush shoe-throwing incident. Within a day of launch we had well over 100,000 visitors and within two days we had 1,000,000. By the end of the week, the site had been served to more than 10 million people.
PopJam Limited was incorporated in September 2008, after receiving approximately £150,000 in angel funding. I took on the role of CTO of the burgeoning social humour distribution site.
Webownr was the product of a chat my colleague and flatmate Simon Boon and I had one evening while trying to find a website that would allow us to find outsourcers for our respective content sites.
My life-long passion for space exploration led me to combine it with my equally strong passion for entrepreneurship. The Million Dollar Homepage inspired me to create a website where I could sell stars and other galactic phenomena to advertise web services in order that I could raise $200,000 to fly into space as a space tourist!
The project was a web-based fantasy Formula 1 share-trading game. It was intended as an entrant into the Imperial College Business Challenge and was initially run as an internal alpha.
My thesis is titled Computational Experiments for Hypersonic Airbreathing Propulsion Intakes at Off-Design Conditions and consists of investigations and modelling of hypersonic intakes when subject to incidence or non-optimal freestream conditions.
Started a Limited Company as a means to transact the web development contracts I had been carrying out for the previous five years.
The four year degree provided significant depth and understanding of quantity, structure, space and change through the topics of Analysis, Algebra, Geometry, Topology and Applications.
